Healthy Shamrock Shake


Did you know the shamrock shake at McDonalds has 530cals 11g protein 15g fat 86g carbohydrates and 73g of sugar!! 

The recipe below is a much healthier alternative with a thick creamy texture. I know the original shamrock shake has mint flavour, although I forgot to add it to my smoothie. Add mint leaves or extract if you desire.


  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder (or vegan vanilla protein powder for vegan option)
  • 1/2 cup kale
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 teaspoon spirulina
  • 1/2 large frozen banana
  • 2 ice cubes


  1. Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Drink right away.
